Project Butterfly

Good Neighbor Center has successfully adjusted its services to cater to the needs of our shelter residents seeking secure, convenient, and dependable childcare. As a way to provide support and empowerment to families, we are thrilled to persistently expand our offerings and collaborate towards a promising future.

Having childcare impacts our families through:

  • Supporting parental employment and financial stability

  • Ensuring a safe and reliable environment for children

  • Supporting children's educational and developmental needs

  • Providing stability, routine, and a sense of normalcy for homeless families

  • Dream it.

Repurposed two previous donation rooms, converting them into a fully licensed childcare facility and an engaging educational area.

  • Build it.

Project Butterfly was created and partially funded by the Silvey Family Foundation and the Oregon Community Foundation.

  • Grow it.

Please visit our donation tab or contact us directly if you are interested in making a contribution. Donations can go directly towards Project Butterfly.
